Living World

Year Five are studying streams and steam life.  We are fortunate to have streams either side of our school and it's great to make the most of having them right on our door step.  They certainly are an interesting ecosystem for the boys to find out about.

This is one of the best places to visit in Wellington.  It is a must see!
Even though the marine centre is housed in the old and very small bait house, what it contains is just wonderful.  They have touch pools filled with all sorts of local marine rock pool life that you are allowed to touch and pick up.  Their tanks are filled with a wide range of interesting species gathered from the harbour, many have been brought in by local fishermen.

 Check out its website!
